Lawrence Craige, Craige & Fox, PLLC

by Ian Oeschger on January 13, 2010

I support the Cape Fear Economic Development Council since I believe it is important that all citizens take responsibility for the quality of life in their community. The types of industry and businesses that make the Cape Fear Region their home have a tremendous impact on our region’s quality of life. As the nation’s economy, particularly North Carolina’s, has shifted from the industrial age to the information age, it is critical that citizens work together to attract businesses based on the new information economy.

By joining the Cape Fear Economic Development Council, I hope to contribute by bringing information economy businesses to the community that build on and improve our existing quality of life. Specifically, the Cape Fear River and our beaches are invaluable natural resources that must be protected so that future generations can enjoy these treasures as well. New businesses that recognize the importance of our natural resources will not only assist in preserving them, but also strengthen our economy so that more private and public monies may be used to protect our environmental assets.
